I believe women have a God-given role to care for our homes while bringing order and beauty out of the chaos. Not perfectly, but cheerfully!

We are a family of 6, and live in small town North Dakota where we enjoy a rich history and hard working culture.
My husband and I have been married for a decade. We have encountered and worked through many difficult situations together and have emerged stronger and more passionate than ever before.
We believe strong intimacy is crucial in maintaining a fun and loving covenant long-term.
We have 4 sweet children who love making any day a celebration. Kids are the best at finding joy in the everyday things!
Homeschooling has become an essential part of our family culture as we have gone deeper and deeper into educating our children at home. This has been a most beautiful journey that we wouldn’t trade for anything.
I am a technically trained chef, turned homemaker by God’s grace.
I love to create wonderful feasts for my family, even if it is just some soup and bread on a cold day!
In order for a recipe to make it into the rotation of family favorites, it must be approved by all 6 members of the family team.
I am particular about nutrition, simplicity, and ease of cooking, while being mindful of the grocery budget. It doesn’t have to be complicated but it does have to be delicious!
